The Transformers  - Starting with the original animated series in 1984 and continuing through today with live-action films, video games, and more, the Transformers franchise has been entertaining fans for decades. Robot & Frank (2012) - In this unique film, an aging ex-convict named Frank is given a robot companion by his well-meaning son Hunter. At first resistant to the idea, Frank soon grows fond of his new friend and starts using him to carry out daring heists at the local library (because what else are you going to do in your golden years?). But as Hunter's visits become less frequent and Frank grows more attached to his robot partner, it becomes clear that not everything is as it seems. With terrific performances by Frank Langella and James Marsden, Robot & Frank is a touching look at loneliness, friendship, and what it means to be human.
